Ramgarh, 24th July 2025 – A special Cancer Awareness Camp was successfully organized today at Marwari Dharamshala, Ramgarh, under the joint initiative of Marwari Yuva Manch and Chetna Shakha, Ramgarh Cantt. The event was part of their ongoing “Cancer Awareness Campaign” aimed at educating the public about the dangers of cancer, its early symptoms, prevention methods, and available treatments.
The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Satish Sharma, a renowned cancer specialist from Ranchi, Jharkhand. Dr. Sharma delivered an insightful session covering the different types of cancer, their early warning signs, genetic factors, and the increased risk due to tobacco use and irregular lifestyles. He emphasized that early detection and timely medical intervention greatly increase the chances of successful treatment. He also encouraged attendees to adopt a healthy lifestyle, including regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, routine exercise, and avoiding smoking and alcohol.
Adding further value to the camp, Mr. Sarfaraz, a specialist representative from Medica Hospital, Ranchi, also participated in the program.
